SPC Bradley Rappuhn Memorial Event

never forgotten

About Brad

Bradley David Rappuhn was a born April 24, 1986. He was a 2004 Grand Ledge High School graduate from Grand Ledge, Mich. He was on the Grand Ledge Bowling Team, loved paint ball, disc golf, his family and friends, of course, his dog, Bill.

Those closest to him describe him as a person who never did anything half-hearted; if he said he was going to be there, he'd be there.

He enlisted in the military  joining the elite B company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment gaining rank as an anti-armor specialist. He served our country as a Ranger until he was killed in action on August 8, 2010 at 24 years old.

Brad was fighting in one of the most heavily defended areas in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He and his battalion destroyed a complex bunker system that housed heavy machine guns and mortar systems, but his unit was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED).
